In an election, a good candidate may lose because 40% of the voters do not cast their votes
Form an equation and draw the graph with data. From the graph find,
a) The total number of voters, if 720 voters cast their votes
b) The number of votes cast, if the total number of voters are 1000.​

After this, you would multiply 1000 with 0.4 to get the amount of people that didn’t vote. 1000 x 0.4 is 400. Subtract 400 (voters that didn’t cast) from 1000  (amount of voters) to get the amount of votes. 1000-400=600.
