Answer:

Let total voters = V

No. of voters who caste their vote = 0.9*V

Valid votes = 0.9*0.9*V = 0.81*V

Winner got 54% & loser got 46% i.e a difference of 8%.

0.08*[0.81*V] = 1620

on solving V = 25000.

Answer:

Let total voters = X

No. of voters who caste

their vote = 0.9*X

Valid votes = 0.9*0.9*X = 0.81X

Winner got 54% & loser got 46% i.e a difference of 8%.

=> 0.08*0.81X = 1620

=> 0.0648X = 1620

=> X = 25000

So , Total Number of Voters Enrolled in Voter List are 25,000
