In an election between two candidates A and B, 30000 votes were polled. A won the election with the margin of 400 votes. Find to ratio of votes polled in favour of each candidate

total 2 person is there let assume one by x and another by x+400. because one person got 400 voter to other to win the election so.

x+(x+400)=30000

2x=29600

x=14800

so the ratio is A : B = 14800+400 : 14800

A : B = 15200 : 14800
