Let the total votes drawn be x

68%x-32%x=5400

36%x=5400

X=5400*100/36

X=15000

Hence total numbers of votes =x=15000

winning cadidate gets : 68%

lose candidate gets : 100-68=32%

Deffance b/w those: 68-32=36%

36%=5400

100%=5400*100/36=15000
