In an election of the Housing Society there are 30 voters each of them give the vote three persons X Y and Z standing for the post of security if Mr X got 2 upon 5 of the total votes and Mr Z got one upon three of the total voters then find the number of voters which MrY got

The value of T is 30.

X is 2/5 times of T.

Z is 1/3 times of T.

Now add 2/5 times T and 1/3 times T and no. of votes of Y.

Equate this entire additive series to 30 and you'll get the value of unknown Y.
