The total number of votes polled ?

 \green{\sf {solution : }}

As we know ,

Out of 100 % people 55% people voted for Ram ,

whereas,

More 45% people voted for another candidate.

Now ,

since ram won by margin 3750 votes.

∴ 10% people are equal to 3750.

Since ,

Total number of people are 100%

That is , 10% × 10% = 3750 × 10

100% = 37500.

Hence , total number of people are 37500.
