in an election, there are two candidates A and B contesting from a constituency total number of voters in this constituency is 65500 out of which only 70% votes are polled. If 54% of the polled votes were cast in favor of B, how many votes did A get?

Votes polled = 80% of 60000

i.e 80/100*60000

=48000

Votes received by B is 100%- 60%

=40%

therefore votes received by B is 40/100 * 48000

=19200
