A= 60% 8000
A=60/100×8000
A=60(80)
A=4800
40% of votes for B
B =40/100×8000
B=40(80)
B=3200
A=4800,B=3200 are votes.

60%of 8000=(60x8000)/100=4800 votes has given to A.
B have 100%-60%=40%votes
Therefore,(40x8000)/100=3200votes has been given to B.
