In an electric field E, a unit negatively charged ion and an electron are moving. Which one of them move fast and why?

So, the field is in the same direction as the force for positive charges, but the opposite direction for negative charges, like electrons. ... Because by defintion the direction of electric field is the direction in which a unit positive charge wil move so therefore electron will move opposite to it.
