GIVEN:

  • potential difference = 30 V

  • current flowing= 0.5 A

  • time = 10 sec

TO FIND :

  • resistance of the lamp

  • charge flowing through the cross section in 10 seconds

SOLUTION :

(1)

As per the formula ,

V = I R

R = V / I

R = 30 / 0.5

R = 60 ohms

resistance of the lamp is 60 ohms

We know that ,

Charge = current × time

Charge = 0.5 × 10

Charge = 5 C
