In an emergency, Dennis brought his car to a full stop at 6.0 s. The car was travelling at a rate of 20 m/s when he stepped on the brake. Compute (a) the car's acceleration and (b) displacement before stopping.

Time= 6s. Velocity=20m/s
Hence displacement=velocity* time
So 20*6=120m and accn=
Velocity/time
So 20/6= 3.33.... m/s square
