Answer:Let x be the number of notes of Rs. 5 and y be the number of notes of Rs. 10.

According to the question,

5x + 10y = 350

x + 2y = 70.......(i)

Also,

x = y - 10

x - y = -10 ....(ii)

Subtract (ii) from (i)

we get

3y = 60

y = 20

Put it in (i) we get

x = 10

Hence, the number of Rs. 5 notes are 10 and the number of Rs. 10 notes are 20.
