Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of 5 rupee note be x and the number of 10 rupee note be y

Then according to the question ,

5x+10y=350

Also,x=2y−10

Putting the value of x from eq .2 in eq. 1 we get,

5(2y−10)+10y=350

20y=400

y=20

Putting the value of y in eq.2 we get x=30

Hence, the number oof 5 and 10 rupee note are30 and 20 respectively

Answer:

Rs 5 = 68

Rs 10 = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

let Notes of rs 5 be x

and notes of rs 10 be y

5x + 10y = 350 _____( divide by 5)

= x + 2y = 70 ____(1)

5x = 10y - 10

= 5x - 10y = -10 ____ (divide by 5)

= x - 2y = -2 _____ (2)

adding both eq. 1 and 2

x + 2y = 70

+ x - 2y = -2

____________

x = 68

Now let's put x = 68 in eq. (1)

= x + 2y = 70

= 68 + 2y = 70

= 2y = 70 - 68

= 2y = 2

= y = 2/2

= y = 1

There are 68 Notes of Rs 5 and 1 Note of Rs 10

Hope this will help you mate !!
