in an eqailateral traiangle of side 24 cm. a circle in inscrible touching its sides . find the area of the remaining portion of the triangle.

draw a triangle of all sides 24 cm
and a circle inscribed inside it
draw radius to circle such that it is perpendicular bisectors to the triangle
now join the centre of the circle to the vertices of the triangle with the help of congruency and the side measures find the area of the whole triangle. then when u get the radius of the circle..find its area
and ur answer will be what u get by subtracting the area of triangle-area of circle=area of remaining portion

Construction:
1. first of all draw an equilateral triangle ABC.
2. then inscribe a circle with centre O touching all the sides of triangle.
3. join centre O to B and C.
4. draw perpendicular OD to dedicate BC.
