Answer: 86% of students passed

86/100 * x = 559

x = 559 *100/86

= 650 students

No of students who failed = 650-559

= 91.

Best of luck.

Answer:

Let total students be x

Student failed= 14%

Student passed %= 100 - 14= 86%

Given student passed=559

ATP,

86%of x =559

=43/50x =559

=x= 559×50÷43

=x=650

Therefore no of students failed= 650-559=91 (ans)
