In an exam A scored 30% of the total marks but failed by 120 marks . In the same exam B scored 60% of the total marks which was 240 marks more than the minimum passing marks . What was the passing percentage of the exam?

0.3x+120=f
x= total marks
f is pass marks

0.6x-240=f
0.3x= 360
x=1200
f=pass mark=480
pass %=480/1200)*100=40%
