we know that by write 12 question obtain =60 mark but students obtain 24 mark si that i say that 50-24=26 is negative mark
every wrong question mark is 2 so that 26÷2 =13
finaly i say that student has 13 question wrong in this exam
thank you

Algebraic Expressions

No. of questions correctly solved by the student is 12.

Let the number of question wrongly attempted by him be x.

As he attempted all the questions,

So total number of questions will be (12+x).

Marks for each correct question is 5.

Marks for each wrong answer is deduction of 2.

According to question,

12\times5+x\times(-2)=24\\\\\implies 60-2x=24\\\\\implies 36=2x\\\\\implies x=18

Hence , number of wrongly attempted question will be 18.
