In an examination 1/3 of the total student used unfair mean and out of which 1/4 caught red handed while cheating. If 5 student caught red hunded then find the total number student appeared in exam

5*4=20

20*3

=60.

I think 60 students appeared for the exam.

1/3 of x used unfair means.        = 1x/3

1/4 of 1x/3 were caught, this is equal to 5

1/4 * 1x/3=5

1x/12=5

x=12*5=60 students.
