In an examination 5 marks are given for every correct answer and -2 marks are given wrong answer and 0 for every non attempted.

(a) If rohith attempted 6 correct and 3 incorrect. What is the total score of rohith

(b) if reena attempted 4 incorrect abd 5 correct. What is her total score

6 correct answers= 6x5 marks=30 marks
3 incorrect answers=-2x3marks=-6 marks

Therefore total marks=30-6=24 marks.

(b)
5 correct answers=5x5 marks=25 marks
4 incorrect answers=-2x4marks=-8 marks

Therefore total marks=25-8=17 marks.
