in an examination 80%of the Candidates paased in english and 85 in mathematics,while 75%passed both in english and mathematics.if 45 candidates failed in both the subjects,find the total number of Candidates.​

80%=english

85%= math

80+85+75+45=285

total no. of candidates is 285.....

Total percentage of students = %age of students passed in eng+%agepassed in maths - % of students passed in both paper

= 80%+85%-75

= 90%

Which 10% of total students = 45

Total students =450
