Answer:

here is your answer...(mark it branliest plzz)

Step-by-step explanation:

let,total marks be x.

let,passing marks be y.

for 1st candidate--

       marks=48x/100=12x/25

so,y=12x/25-24

    y-12x/25= -24

25y-12x= -600.........(i)

for second candidate--

          marks =36x/100=9x/25

so,y=9x/25+12

    y-9x/25=12

25y-9x=300..........(ii)

subtracting eq.(i)from (ii)-

                                          3x=900

                                         x=300

putting x=300 in eq.(ii)--

            25y-9(300)=300

             25y=300+2700

              25y=3000

                  y=120
