let the no. of qyestions e answered correctly be x

let the no. of questions he answered wrong be y

total no. of questions =

x+y=60

y=60-x------eqn 1

4x-y=130

4x-60+x=130

5x=130+60

5x=190

x=190/5

x=38

therefore, the no. of questions he answered correctly=38
