in an examination a student secured 230 marks and he failed by 10 marks if the total number of marks is 600 find the percentage of minimum marks required to pass

here's ur answer...

total marks=600

he secured 230marks and fail by 10marks it means the minimum marks required to pass is=230+10

=240

hence 240 is the minimum marks to pass

percentage of minimum marks required to pass=240/600×100

=240/6

=40%

hence 40% is the minimum percentage to pass.
