In an examination,Ashok attempted a total of 13 questions.the number of questions which he answered correctly is five less than twice the number of questions which he answered incorrectly. Represent this situation algebraically annd find the number of questions which he answered correctly?.

let the number of questions Ashok answered correctly be 'x' and incorrect answers be 'y'
as per condition
1) x=2y-5
2)x+y=13
