In an examination it is required to get 296 marks out of aggregate marks to pass . A student get 222 marks and is declared fail by 10% marks . What are the maximum aggregate marks as student can get.

10% of maximum mark = 296 - 222 = 74

Thus max. mark = 74*10= 740
