SOLUTION:-

GIVEN:-

1.MARKS REQUIRED TO PASS THE EXAM = 750

2. MARKS HE GOT= 700

3.MARKS BY HE FAILED= 4%

LET THE-

● TOTAL MARKS BE X.

ACCORDING TO QUESTION,

 = 700 + (x \times 4\%) = 750 \\ = 700 + \frac{x}{25} = 750 \\ = \frac{x}{25} = 750 - 700 \\ = x = 50 \times 25 \\ = x = 1250

HENCE,

MAXIMUM MARKS IS 1250..
