Percentage required to pass = 40%

Total Marks = 200

So total marks Required to qualify

=Total Marks × Percentage required to pass

= 200 × 40%.

=200×40/100

=8000/100

=80

Actual Marks secured = 72

No.of marks Less than the Requirement = 80 - 72 = 8

its Percentage
= (marks Required/total marks )×100

= (8/200)×100

=800/200

=4 %
