In an examination rajesh got 112 marks.Which is 32 more than passing marks .Sonal got 75%marks,which is 70 more than passing marks.What is the minimum passing %of the test

Let maximum marks be x.  

According to the question,  

75x100−70=112−32

=75x100=80+70=>75x100=150

Therefore x = 200

Passing marks = 112 - 32 = 80 (as Rajesh got 112 marks which is 32 more than the passing marks.)  

Therefore, Minimum passing marks percentage = 80200×100 = 40%
