Here .. If we made equation

R for Ramya & U for Udaya

2 U = R - 9

Thier total is 195

when you put U = 51 & R = 93

you will get your answer..

udayakumarich: But....how to solve can you plz tell
harsh6354: I don't know how can i explain you without face to face

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the marks that Udaya got be x.

Twice the marks he got will be :

= 2x

Ramya got 9 less twice what Udaya got.

This is represented as :

2x - 9

The product of what they got is as follows :

x(2x - 9) = 195

2x² - 9x = 195

We solve this as a quadratic equation to get the value of x.

2x² - 9x - 195 = 0

Solve using quadratic formula:

x = 9 +/- √{(-9)² + 4 × 2 × 195} / 2 × 2

x = 9 \frac{+}{-} 10.13

x = - 1.13 or 19.13

We take the positive value :

x = 19.3

udaya got = 19.3

Ramya = (2 × 19.13) - 9 = 29.26

Ramya got more by :

29.26 - 19.13 = 10.13
