2x - 9 +x = 195

3x = 204

x = 68

Rama = 2x -8 = 127

Ramaya\:got\:more\:marks

Let Udaya's got "x" marks.

therefore,
Ramya's marks: 2x - 9

according to the question,

x(2x-9) = 195

 {2x}^{2} - 9x = 195

 {2x}^{2} - 9x - 195 = 0

 {2x}^{2} + 15x - 26x - 195 = 0

➡ 2x(x-13) + 15(x-13) =0

➡(x-13)(2x+15) = 0

➡ either,

x = 13 or, x = -15/2

since, Marks can't be negative,
so, Udaya's marks = 13

Ramaya's marks = 15

therefore,

Ramya got more marks. She got 9 marks more than Udaya.
