Answer:

(4x+30)/(7x+30)=2/3

12x+90=14x+60

2x=30

x=15

Initial marks is 4x:7x= 4*15:7*15

=60:105

60,105

Answer:

Initial marks

Shyam: 60 marks

Dhanya: 105 marks

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of initial marks is 4/7

Therefore,

The initial marks of Shyam are 4x

The initial marks of Dhanya are 7x

When 30 marks are added to both

4x+30/7x+30 = 2/3

Cross multiplying

3(4x+30) = 2(7x+30)

12x + 90= 14x + 60

90-60= 14x-12x

30=2x

=> x = 15

Initial marks

Shyam= 4x = 4*15 = 60marks

Dhanya= 7x = 7*15 = 105marks
