Step-by-step explanation:

As given total marks -- 900(given marks)

student get only 33% marks

According to the question

first

900×33/100=297

its means person gets 297 marks which is the 33% of 900

where 45 marks marks extra require to students means as

297+45=342.

passing marks require =342

passing marks % =( 342÷900)100 =38. % Hope it helps you

Answer:

Calculating the student's marks:

33% = \frac{1}{3}

\frac{1}{3} (900) = 300

Given that the student fails by 45 marks.

Hence, the pass mark is 345.

Pass percentage = \frac{345}{900} (100) = \frac{345}{9}

                                                                                  = 38.33%
