Given ,

Pass percentage = 40 percent

Marks obtained = 93

Pass marks = marks obtained + marks by

which the candidate has failed

Therefore , pass marks = 93 + 7
= 100

If 100 marks are 40 percent

100 percent is equal to x

By cross multiplication ,

40 x = 100 x 100

X = ( 100 x 100 ) / 40

X = 250 marks

Therefore the total marks are 250 .

Hope this answer is satisfactory ☺️
