Question

in an examination there are three paper each of hundred marks a candidate obtained 53 marks in First paper and 75 marks in 2nd paper how many marks ruled the candidate obtained to get an overall of 70%

ANSWER

____________________________________________

Three Papers of 100 marks

=> Maximum Marks = 300

Marks required for Overall of 70 % = 70/100 x 300

= 210 marks

=> Marks in First paper + Second Paper + Third paper = 210

=> 53 + 75 + Marks in Third Paper = 210

=> Marks in Third Paper = 82

Answer:

82

Step by step explination:

No. of Exam=3

Marks in each exam=100

Maximum marks in 3 exam= 300(3*100)

#Marks in first exam=53

#Marks in second exam=75

@Let's take the marks in Third exam be 'x'

ATQ: The candidate has got 70percent

(NOW WE NEED TO FIND 70PERCENT OF 300)

70percent of 300=70/100*300

=210

Now,ATQ

53+75+x=210

75+x=210-53

75+x=157

x=157-75

x=82

# HENCE MARKS IN 3rd EXAM IS 82
