in an examinition 400 students appeared . if 2/3 of boys and all 130 girls passed in exams .then find the no.of boys who failed in exams .

no of students who appeared for exam =400
no of girls = 130
so, no of boys = 400-130 = 270
percentage of boys who passed the exam =2/3
so , no of boys who passed the exam = 2/3 × 270 => 180
therefore,
no of boys who failed the exam = 270 -180 = 90 boys
