Answer:

Verifies the law of constant proportion

Explanation:

1st experiment

1.28g of coppor oxide gave =1.03g of

copper

1g of CuO gave. =1.03/1.28

100g of CuO gave =1.03/1.28 X100

=80.46g

mass of oxygen =100-80.46

=19.54

2nd experiment

3.672g CuO gave. =2.938g of Cu

1g of CuO gave. =2.938/3.672

100g of CuO gave. =2.938/3.672X100

=80.01

mass of O =100-80.01

=19.91

Thus the experiment illustrates the law of constant composition as the proportion of Copper oxide and oxygen are same in both of the experiments.

I am sure the above answer is correct.
