"The law of conservation of mass or principle of mass conservation states that for any system closed to all transfers of matter and energy, the mass of the system must remain constant over time, as system's mass cannot change, so quantity cannot be added nor removed.

Hence, the quantity of mass is conserved over time.

As per law of conservation of mass:

Total mass of reactants = 24g

Mass of product produced = 16.67g

Mass of escaped gas = 24g – 16.67g = 7.33g

Here's , Your Answer :-

Q.) In an experiment 14 gram of sodium bicarbonate was allowed to react with 10 G of Acetic Acid after the election was completed it was found that 16.6 7 gram of the solution was left because the gas ?

Ans.) Given ,

Total mass of reactants = 24g

Mass of product found = 16.67 g

To find - Mass of escaped gas .

we know , Mass of escaped gas = Total mass of reactants - Mass of product obtained .

So , Mass of escaped gas = 24g - 16.67g
= 7.33 g

Hence , Mass of escaped gas is 7.33 g .
