In an experiment 6.5 kg of fuel was completely burnt. the heat produced was measured to be 1,90,000 kj. Calculate the calorific value of the fuel in kj per kg

As we know that the calorific value is the amount of heat produced when 1 gram of the fuel undergoes combustion. Heat given by 4.5 kg of fuel is 1,80,000kJ (given) i.e. Hence, the calorific value of the fuel is 40,000kJ.
