in an experiment a leafy shoot was set up in potometer and kept in a dark room for two hours then in a well lit room for another two hours .Explain results which would be expected in each of the two experiment conditions

In the dark room, the bubble would not move because since it is dark, stomata closes and transpiration does not occur and therefore plant does not absorb alot of water.

In well lit room, the bubble will move by some amount because stomata open in lit environment and transpiration occurs, because of which the plant absorbs more water.
