in an experiment, a student was asked to increase a brightness of the bulb which has a resistor connected in series to it. without removing his resistor, what will he/she should do?

If d area of cross section of d wire is increased d resistance will decrease which will in turn increase d brightness of d bulb.

He should connect the bulb in parallel to the resistor

sabarikarthick: if he connects the resistors in parallel he would have to move the resistor
