In an experiment if we put red litmus paper in base and it changes into blue with the same (red litmus paper converted into blue) paper into acid will it change into red ?

yes , if we again put blue litmus paper into acid , it will change to red
because acid converts blue litmus into red.

That is contrary to the known behavior of litmus paper when it contacts an acid, so either (A) the paper wasn’t actually litmus paper, but contained some other kind of indicator, or (B) the material you tested wasn’t actually acidic
