in an experiment of finding the refractive index of glass , if blue light is replaced by the red light , how will the refractive index of glass change ? give reason in support of your answer.

The refractive index will increase because red deviates the least and blue deviates much more than red..So in order to replace blue light by red..it has to deviate at a greater extent thus the converging power will have to be increased and so the refractive index
