Statement of Ohm's Law :

Ohm’s law states that at a constant temperature, current I through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the potential difference or voltage, V, across the two points.

Apparatus
Rheostat, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Voltage supply of 5V D.C

Experimental Arrrangement

Connect the variable voltage supply to both the ends of the rheostat.Connect the ammeter in series of the rheostat.Connect the voltmeter in parallel of the rheostat.Start measuring the voltage and current as you move the rheostat moving hand from minimum position to the maximum position in the steps of constant increase in current.Plot a graph between the voltage and the current using the data obtained by the experiment.Observe the graph obtained.
