HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:- In an experiment on measuring the range

of bullet bullet was fired from gun at angles 30,37,

42 and 53 with same muzzle speed, in which case the

maximum range of bullet is.

SOLUTION:-

By using the formula of Range of projectile motion.

R = (u²sin2Ф)/g

According to question ,

velocity of fired bullet is same for every angle. (assumed)

and g is always constant.

Then the maximum range depend only on sin2Ф.

And in sin function when angle increase then value of sine function

also increase.

It's means Ф = 42° gives maximum range. ( sin2Ф = sin84° )

Therefore, 42° is correct option.

THANKS.
