In an experiment to prepare a temporaryount of leaf peel to show stomata ,why glycerin and safranin are used

glycerin is used to keep the mount wet and safranin is used to coluor the peel or mount so that it could be clearly viewed

Safranin are used to stain the peel so that it can be easy to know the
different organelles of cell.
Glycerine is used to avoid dehydration of the specimen . It misturizes the onion peel or mount
