A. Observation is incorrect
As water used in labs (distilled water) is neutral and hence produces green colour when put on pH paper.

Student A is wrong. Water being neutral does not turn the pH paper blue.

The paper turns blue only when dipped in basic solutions. The correct answer will be that the pH paper will turn green when dipped in a water sample as the water sample is neutral .

Student A has taken the wrong observation. This is a silly mistake in taking the observation and shows lack of logic.
