For this experiment we need a conical flask, a cork, a bend tube, some germinating seed of chana, KOH, a beaker with water.
The KOH is placed inside the conical flask with germinating seeds and bend pipe is passed through it.
In this experiment we see that germinating seeds respire as they need oxygen and release carbon dioxide zo the KOH that is also placed inside the flask absorb carbon dioxide and after sometime vacuum will create and thus leads to rise on the water in the bend tube from the beaker.
