covered a part of destarched leaf of a potted plant with black paper strips on both sides and kept the plant in sunlight for 6 hours. the leaf was then tested with iodine after boiling it in alchol - only the uncovered part of leaf turned blue - black what conclusion can be drawn from the experiment?
