solution : Helium contains two protons in its nucleus.

so, charge on nucleus, Q = 2e = 2 × 1.6 × 10^-19 C = 3.2 × 10^-19 C

separation between electron and nucleus, r = 26.5 pm = 2.65 × 10¯¹¹ m

now electric field due to nucleus at the location of electron is..

E = KQ/r²

= (9 × 10^9 × 3.2 × 10^-19)/(2.65 × 10^-11)²

= 4.1 × 10¹² N/C.

Therefore the electric field due to nucleus at the location of electron is 4.1 × 10¹² N.
