Given :

The process is isobaric .

To find :

The ratio of heat supplied to work done by system in an isobaric process .

Solution :

we know, γ =  C_{p} / C_{v}

Ratio = - dQ / dW

         = dQ / ( dQ - dU)

         = n * C_{p} * dT / ( n * C_{p} * dT - n * C_{v} * dT )

         = C_{p} / ( C_{p} - C_{v} )

 dividing numerator and denominator by C_{v} ,

         = γ / ( γ - 1 )

The ratio of heat supplied to work done by the system is γ / ( γ - 1 ) .
